Welcome, listeners to what is sadly going to be the last recording of Aliens Explored, at least for the time being. We prefer to think of it as a short sabbatical or, in Netflix terms, a mid-season break. This is a busy time of year for both Neil and Stu, and they are feeling the strain a bit, so we will revisit this decision early in 2023. In the meantime, enjoy this more general discussion of the various phenomena and the ground we have covered over the previous 115 episodes.

Recently our resident skeptic Neil sent Stu an email with a link to a newspaper article talking about how Scientists in Ukraine have spotted several UFOs in recent times! He suggested that maybe this woud be a good topic to discuss on the show, and Stu agreed with him 100%!

This week on Aliens Explored we will be looking at the life and times of former US Army Intelligence officer, Philip J Corso. Some fifty-odd years after the event, and shortly before his death, retired Lieutenant Colonel Corso published 'The Day After Roswell', an expose the US Government's alleged cover-up of the whole saga, in which he alleges that many of the technological innovations we enjoy to this day have been reverse-engineered from that crashed flying saucer.

All the way back in Episode 2 (https://aliensexplored.podbean.com/e/the-phoenix-lights/), Neil & Stu discussed a particular event from 1997 - The Phoenix Lights. At the time, the then Arizona Govenor, Fife Symington trotted out an Aide of his dressed as an alien, which went a long way towards ridiculing the event. The ten years later he reverses his stance, and comes out as being someone wholly in support of blowing the lid off what really happened, and he has publicly said he believes these were extra-terrestrial vehicles. So what do Neil & Stu make of Former Govenor Fife Symington? Join them, as they discuss this controversial character.

Here at Aliens Explored we enjoy engaging with our audience and this week Neil & Stu will be discussing a question raised by Michelle. Michelle has opened a whole can of worms by asking them if they think that extra-terrestrials might be time travellers. Join Neil & Stu as they explore the many facets of inter-dimensional travel.

The Tulli Papyrus. The transcription of an ancient Egyptian papyrus, dating back to the reign of Thutmose III. This puts it in the region of about 1440BC. In this papyrus, ‘fiery discs’ are described – could this be one of the earliest recorded accounts of UFOs? Or is the papyrus (as some have claimed) a hoax? Join Neil & Stu as they discuss the Tulli Papyrus.

In 1971 a 17-year old rocket enthusiast was given permission to launch his homemade prototype rocket and told to direct it towards that patch of land better known as Area 51. Thinking he was simply being escorted by the military to retrieve it, the young man was instead taken inside a secret hangar and asked his opinion about what he believed to be alien technology. Join Neil & Stu as they delve into the life and times of David Adair.

Well it seems there was just so much to talk about with the Calvine UFO and the reappearance of the photograph, that Neil & Stu simply ran out of time! So this is part two of that conversation where they look at the reappearance of this famous photograph.

In a change to our previously planned episode, this week on Aliens Explored we have an intriguing mystery for you, about supposedly the most perfect photo of a UFO ever taken which disappeared and then reappeared thirty years later. The photo also captured a military jet shadowing the UFO, which the authorities deny all knowledge of. Added to that we have a newspaper editor who refused to publish the photo, claiming that he had been served with Defence Intelligence 'D' notice, forbidding publication which the authorities also deny all knowledge of. And who took the photo anyway? Join Neil & Stu on Aliens Explored as they explore the mystery of the Calvine UFO.

Project Aurora (also known as Project Dark Star, or Project Astra) is a rumoured Stealth Aircraft programme dating back to the 1980's. With rumoured speeds of over Mach 6, flying heights in excess of 65,000 feet, and theories about a 'Pulse Wave Detonation' engine. Could this be an aircarft that is evidence of reverse engineered technology, or with it's dark, triangular shape, is this in fact what is behind a lot of UFO sightings? Join Neil & Stu as they discuss Project Aurora!
